The Red Carpet is always a place for excitement, fashions displays and unravel truths. We like some, hate some but the bottom line is we all look forward to the red carpet rush hour. Our celebrities show up in their best and fans scream for attention, autographs or pictures. The press is there to get the best shots and exclusive vibes. All is exciting until a celebrity shows up without one of these:
A proper dress
This happens and happens almost all the time. A celeb buzzes in with one of or almost all of her body parts flashed to our faces. It gets embarrassing and shocking to everyone because at some point, the red carpet host can’t look at the star!
A Pair of shades
What’s the big deal? Some would wonder. But when a celebrity is too tired, has had little or no sleep or, you know, has taken something – too much alcohol or ganja – a pair of sunglasses is badly needed. The shade aids the swag. It further covers the ‘I don’t wanna be here’ look and definitely gives more confidence to whoever is the subject.
A proper Make Up
This gets ridiculous by the hour. Most times the red carpet is heavily lit with lights that ooze out heat through the rays. When a celeb begins to sweat just before his/her first interview, by the time it gets to the forth, she begins to run away because the heat is too much. Sweat mingles with heavy makeup becomes a big no-no. You end up like a scare crow instead of the beauty queen. Sweating also spoils your salutes when it appears under the armpit and prints out on your dress. ewwh!
Make ups for men usually tie with their blings (jewelleries). Mixture of gold and silver doesn’t present so well to the eye. You’ll end up shining like the sun and trust no one loves staying under the sun for too long. If it’s gold, then gold only. Don’t mix it up!
Wrong Shoes
This could occur as a mare mistake or a deliberate act just to attract attention. Wearing a ball gown and a pair of sneakers is wrong. Sometimes shoes heels are just too high for the celebrity to move on. She ends up limping like someone suffering from an accident. This movement damages your presence on the red carpet. Note that there are television houses too, not just photographers.
A Smile
Yes! Not every day is full of happiness. But fans don’t get that. They are interested in seeing their models happy no matter what and smiling back at them. A simple smile checks out everything else. It brightens the clothes and make ups and brings out the beauty in every one. So get your smile on at every red carpet session. It helps!
These are just written tips, try by practicing them and see the difference.
