A
fan sent this photo to us which clearly shows controversial actress,
Liz Da Silva, who gave birth recently, with about three different men
linked to her pregnancy, holding a sex toy (Pics was taken at her baby
shower).
Anyway, We learnt Liz DaSilva has finally given the baby to one Alhaji Olaoye, that was not among all the three men in the picture initially. The Alhaji accepted the baby but with some conditions.
He insisted she convert from Christianity to Islam; heard she has already done so.

Drinking 4 cups of tea or coffee a day helps lower BP
People
consuming four cups of tea or coffee a day have lower blood pressure as
compared to those who don’t, a new study has revealed. However, this
recent study contradicts previous findings that has linked caffeine
intake to high BP or hypertension.
The
French research, conducted over a decade, discovered that heavy tea
drinkers had lower BP, pulse pressure and heart rate than lighter
drinkers.
Scientists also proved in the study that heavy coffee drinkers had slightly higher BP than normal but non-drinkers had the highest readings.
Bruno Pannier, the report author from the Preventive and Clinical Investigations Centre in Paris, said that it was possible that the flavonoids in tea had a relaxing effect on blood vessels.

Simple Do-It-Yourself Car Maintenance Tips
Maintaining
one’s car in a good condition gets extremely easy once we know the
right precautions to take, the necessary habits to be adopted and the
correct way of tackling simple issues that keep on arising from time to
time. So, here is a short and simple guide to car maintenance that can
prove to be very useful for car owners in keeping away unnecessary car
troubles over the days to come.
Wheels and Tyres
Wheels and tyres are one of the worst sufferers of everyday travel and hence they are one of those parts of a car that deserve the best care and the utmost attention of the car owner. Following are some useful pointers for those who wish to keep good care of their car’s tyres:
A regular check of tyres for cracks, bulges, extreme wear and other defects helps prevent dangerous accidents.
Timely check of tyre tread, whether by the use of tread indicators mounted on tyres or with the help of tread depth gauges, is important for knowing when tyres need replacement.
A weekly reading of tyre pressure and maintaining proper tyre pressure at all times helps improve fuel-economy, comfort, safety, road grip and handling in the car. however, these readings should only be taken when the tyres are cold as high temperature tends to alter them.
Uneven wear in tyres despite maintaining proper inflation indicates faulty wheel alignment, which should be repaired immediately by a professional mechanic.
For the tyres to have a long lifetime, rotation of wheels according to the timing and pattern described in the car’s user manual is extremely important.
The tough combination of dirt that usually accumulates on wheels and tyres can only be removed by strong cleaning agents meant exclusively for wheel wash. Using car body washing agents for wheels might result in improper cleaning.
Engine
For a car to function properly, its engine must function properly. Following are some tips that go a long way in keeping a car’s engine well-maintained:
The rubber drive belts of the engine should be checked after every 40,000km and replaced after every 80,000km.
The engine oil level should be checked after every 5,000km or after every 6 months and the reserve replenished if needed.
The engine coolant and antifreeze should be checked after every 40,000km, but only when the engine is cool. Their levels should always be within prescribed limits.
The transmission fluid level should be checked after every 40,000km, both when the engine is cold as well as when the engine is running. Proper levels should be maintained at all times.
Protecting sensitive parts like the air intake with plastic covers, the engine should be cleaned on a regular basis as it keeps heat generation at a minimum and makes fault-detection much easier.
A monthly check of engine hoses for cracks, leaks, disconnections and other defects is also recommended.
Changing oil frequently has always been known to keep the engine in good health.
For a car engine to function perfectly, auto-experts recommend changing the transmission fluid filter at every transmission fluid change, the oil filter at every other oil change and blow compressed air through the air filter after every two months and replace it when it seems necessary.
Spark plugs should also be replaced with new ones according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Battery
In order to keep the car’s power-supply going without any hitches, the battery needs to be maintained properly. Here are a few simple steps that can be taken to ensure that the car battery has a long life:
A monthly check of the battery is advised by auto-experts so that accumulated dirt on the battery’s case and terminals can be cleaned and in case of defects like cracks and bulges, a replacement can be done on time.
Keeping the battery clean is very important to ensure smooth and efficient flow of current. All that is needed is a wet cloth, a wire brush and a solution of a mild detergent in water. But, before the clean-up, the owner must disconnect the negative terminal (or both the terminals, disconnecting the negative first) of the battery to avoid getting any shocks. After the clean-up, the positive terminal must be reconnected before the negative one.
For batteries that need water, a regular check of the water level is recommended, and a refill (whenever required) with nothing but distilled water is advised by experts.
Brakes
For complete safety and absolute comfort, it is essential for the brakes and shock absorbers of a car to be in proper working condition at all times. Here is what can be done to ensure that these vital parts remain functional and can be repaired on time if ever they get faulty:
Monthly check of brake fluid should be done and the brake fluid reservoir should be refilled whenever required. Only the type of brake fluid prescribed by the car manufacturer should be used for the refill and care should be taken not to use fluid exposed to air and moisture for refill.
The brake fluid is toxic so it should be ensured that it does not come into contact with the face. Also, it can damage the car paint if allowed to spill on it.
An inspection of the brake system after every 16,000km is advised. In case, brake fluid is getting consumed at a rate faster than it should, a professional mechanic should be consulted as there might be some problem with the brake system in such situations.
Noises or vibrations experienced during braking are indicators of a faulty brake system. And so are brake pedals that are either too soft or too hard to press. An immediate check-up of the brake system by a professional is required in such cases.

Why men are better at losing weight than women
The
international head of the Weight Watchers organization has said that
men are vastly better than women at losing weight because they view it
as “a war.”
The
organization also says that this fact intensely annoys women, who are
also burdened by a media-led barrage of negative body image stereotypes.
Guys don’t want to be seen as going on a diet, they want to be seen as getting more fit, they are typically more successful at losing weight because they approach it in a combative frame of mind.

Michael Jackson 'Didn't Want to Be Moonwalkin' at 50', Says Mom Katherine
In a video deposition played for the jury today in Michael Jackson's wrongful death trial, mom Katherine Jackson revealed that there was almost no chance in hell that the world would get to see his son, the late King of Pop, perform live again. Of course, this was all before Michael signed up for his fateful "This Is It" tour.
In her testimony, Katherine explained that the first time she learned about her son agreeing to do the ill-fated "This Is It" series of concerts with concert promoter AEG Live was the same way millions around the world learned about it. This was when Jackson made the announcement in London from behind the podium back in 2009 just months before his death.
Although she couldn't recall who she was with at that time she saw Michael making the announcement, she was surprised to learn that her son would be going on a new concert tour after years of being inactive onstage. She knew "Michael did not want to do it anymore," adding, "He would always joke about how he did not want to be moonwalkin' when he's 50" and that "he wants to do something else" although there was no mention of what that new endeavor was.
According to Katherine, there was no hint from Michael at all up until he made his tour announcement that there was still a chance he would be performing live again soon. It had been more than a decade since Michael last went on his HIStory World Tour in support of his second to the last album.

Funke Akindele Says My Marriage Is Intact, I'm Going to Court
The news of her troubled marriage was first reported by The Nation, so Funke Akindele has forwarded an sms message to the media house. The message reads:
“I read in the newspaper yesterday that I am divorced. What proof do you have? And I am taking this to court because my marriage is intact. You guys are rumour mongers. Funke Akindele Oloyede.”
It was reported on Tuesday that the actress may have been separated from her husband, Kehinde Oloyede, son of former Iyaloja of Oshodi market.
This is after Kehinde Oloyede himself announced a “separation” via his facebook page on Monday. He said:
“It is with heavy heart that I am announcing the separation of me and my wife, Mrs Olufunke Akindele. We have both agreed to go our separate ways because of irreconcilable differences. We are still best of friends and we would forever remain good friends.”
The statement, which the actress’ husband has since deleted from his facebook wall, generated concerns among the star’s fans, who made the issue a major topic on the social media.
Attempts to reach Funke on Monday failed. Her elder sister, who doubles as her spokesperson, Mrs Ayo-Ola Muhammed, failed to make an official statement she promised when contacted because, according to reports, the actress asked that no statement be made on the issue. Complete story....

Top 10 Nelson Mandela Quotes of All Times
South Africa is celebrating the 95th birthday of its most prized national figure, anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela.
One
of the many things Africans and people all around the world can look
for inspiration are the many quotes Mandela has provided us with.
Here is our list of the “Top 10 Nelson Mandela Quotes of All Times.”
1. Nothing in this world is impossible and Mandela makes sure to remind us of that.
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”
2.
A lot of people find it easy to be pessimistic and think of the
negatives that can arise out of a situation. But in this quote, Mandela
shows us that thinking positive is the only way to go. The more positive
you think, the more positive the outcome will probably be.
“I
am fundamentally an optimist. Whether that comes from nature or
nurture, I cannot say. Part of being optimistic is keeping one’s head
pointed toward the sun, one’s feet moving forward. There were many dark
moments when my faith in humanity was sorely tested, but I would not and
could not give myself up to despair. That way lays defeat and death.”
3. Living isn’t just about doing for yourself, but what you do for others as well.
“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.”
4. An ode to the fact that racism is not passed on genetically, but passed on through teachings.
“No
one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or
his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they
can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more
naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”
5. Life is a course with endless obstacles to hurdle.
“After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb.”
6.
We are too quick to give up and refuse to get up from our failures. If
we don’t fight to get up, we are giving up on something bigger – life.
“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
7. Sometimes you can leave a place and find that the only thing that has changed after all the years is yourself.
“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”
8. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
“If you want to make peace with your enemy, you have to work with your enemy. Then he becomes your partner.”
9. Be brave!
“I
learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over
it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who
conquers that fear.”
10. From the poorest of countries to the richest of nations, education is the key to moving forward in any society.
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

Tweets of the day! By Actress Yvonne Okoro : "Sperm Brightens Teeth"
The Nollywood/ Ghollywood actress innocently took to twitter saying ” The best whitening agent for one’s teeth is sperms”.
Honestly
the tweet outraged a section of her fan base because she is a role
model and some even went ahead to start to label her horrible names
As expected, some fans took her tweet to another level, started attacking her and calling her a bad role model. And immediately she ran to the defence from the over sensitive fans.
Should a role model actually be tweeting this?
