It turns out that things are not so rosy between Nigerian Musician Jaywon, and his record label Kennis Music.
It was reported that he wrote a letter to the Boss of Kennis Music, asking to end his contract with them. It is said that Jaywon offered in his letter, to pay off all costs his termination of contract might incur.
On these grounds, Kennis Music has urged the “Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria IBAN, and broadcasters on all platforms to un-list the works (Either single performances or and collaborations) of Iledare Oluwajuwonlo James aka Jaywon from their respective rotational play lists until his (Jaywon) request to buy over his contract is fully completed to avoid litigation.”
When contacted on the matter on Wednesday, Jaywon refused to speak.
Comparing this case with that of Chocolate City and Brymoh, we can only hope that this settled peacefully, before any major damage is done.
